what should I expect during IV therapy?
an infusion is meant to be a relaxing experience. you will be in a private room, bring whatever you need to make yourself comfortable - book, headphones, iPad, etc. a small needle is used to obtain access to the vein for infusion. once access is obtained, the needle is removed and a plastic catheter remains in place to infuse the nutrients and fluids.
how long does the infusion take?
the time per infusion depends on the patient. average time is 30-45 minutes. some drips do require a slower infusion time such as our ALA drip and NAD+ drip.
how often should I get an infusion or injection?
how often depends on your wellness goals and nutritional needs. some people enjoy 1-2 drips per week, others find the best benefit from a drip every other week. average is once a month. injections can be received once a week for best results.
